What to Expect

WELCOME TO ST. PAUL'S
Due to covid 19 you must wear a mask at Sunday Worship.

Where should I park?
We have one parking lot on Schilling Avenue.  For safety and security, after 10:45 a.m., please ring the buzzer at the gate and someone will let you in.

Guest Book/Friendship Pads
Please sign our guest book (located by the water fountain) or sign the friendship pads which are located on the pews in the Sanctuary.

What is the worship service like?
10:30 a.m.  Service
A blended service is what we have currently at St. Paul’s.  It is a mix of old and new. It allows for some flexibility and allows us to reach people of all ages with the Good News.  For instance we use a variety of song styles and instruments at St. Paul’s. We are blessed that we have gifted musicians and vocalists to be able to do this. We use organ that some think of as traditional but we also use an electric and grand piano and many other types of instruments.  Our service is printed in our worship bulletin and hymns are in the Evangelical Lutheran Hymnal in your pews.  Bibles are also in the pews.  We alternate having continuous Communion using Intinction as well as altar rail Communion using pre-filled cups.  There is a children/youth message at each service.

May I receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion? (Due to Covid 19, Holy Communion will take place in your pew)  We celebrate God’s grace as it comes to us in the Lord’s Supper.  Here at St. Paul’s we practice an open table.  All are welcome to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. Children may come forward  for a blessing.     If you need to remain in the pew, please let an usher know and the bread and wine will be brought to you.

Do you have a nursery?
Our unstaffed nursery is open and has toys, etc.

How should I dress?
You will find that the people of St. Paul's dress in many different ways. Some are dressed in jeans and
T-shirts, while others wear work-casual. We welcome you to dress however you feel most comfortable.
