How it works
DRIVE THRU FOOD PANTRY OPEN!
Every Thursday from 9am to 11am
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Food Pantry Ministry is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is run by
volunteers only from with the church and community. This service is provided by the generosity of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church members, friends in the community, and the Houston Food Bank . We are open for distribution on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Occasionally the Food Pantry will be closed due to a funeral, wedding, holiday or other church function that takes place during the Food Pantry hours.
We welcome agencies in the community to offer information and resources that lead clients to self sufficiency.
Mission Statement:
St. Paul’s Food Pantry is a ministry to serve in response to God’s love to meet human needs, advocating dignity and justice for all people, standing with the poor and powerless, and committing to serving their needs.
Who We Help:
Our food pantry is open to any household in need. Clients may come once a week.
Clients are asked to provide their name and address, form of identification, number and ages of people residing in their household and any government assistance programs they are currently receiving.
We will provide assistance to anyone regardless of race, color, age, religion, national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation or location.
We have the right to refuse service to individuals posing a health hazard, been verbally or physically abusive or have threatened harm to volunteers, staff, or other clients. Clients may not “take cuts” in line.
