BLOOD DRIVE October 10th sponsored by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Bank We had
such a great turn-out for our last blood drive. 23 people gave blood.
Let’s see if we can do even better this time.
Breakfast will be served on this Sunday, so there will be plenty of food
and drink to replenish your body before & after giving blood.
You may ask, “Why should I give
blood?” Medical technology has provided many life-saving discoveries over the
years, but there is still no substitute for blood. In a medical emergency, often
the most important element is the
availability of blood. Blood donations can help a variety of individuals: trauma
victims, surgery patients,
premature babies, individuals with anemia, cancer patients and many more. We have been assigned code number with
the local blood bank located at 5010 Garth Rd Garth Road.
If you go to the blood bank and give blood 3 days before the drive or 3
days after the drive you can give
them the code number and your blood donation will be credited toward St.
Paul’s. Our code
number is # 1538. The mobile unit will be here at 8am
